Sweet fantasies - Jamaican Rum Cake stars on TV

sweet fantasies take part in The Great Cake Bake on WEDDING TV (Sky Channel 266)

The Great Cake Bake is a competition for Wedding Cake Designers to design the perfect cake for a couple’s wedding based on the style, theme and personality of the couple. Three Cake Designers take part in each episode, pitching their design idea to the Wedding Couple. The Couple then decide on which Cake Designer they want to make their Wedding Cake. The couple don’t see their Wedding Cake until it is unveiled to them at their Wedding Reception.

THE WINNER   **** sweet fantasies ****

 The design we pitched was a 5 tier Hexagonal cake with Swarovski crystal decoration. 4 tiers were Jamaican Rum Cake (containing 2 bottles of White Rum & 2 bottles Red Wine) and 1 tier was Sponge, jam & buttercream.

The episode we appear in will be screened in early  February 2011, filming of the consultation, making the cake and unveiling took place during November at our studio & Somerford Hall, Brewood, Stafford. To watch the episode Click Here
